How long do the effects last?
The longevity of the results depends on many factors such as patient age, skin quality, health and lifestyle, the amount of product used, and the treated area. Most patients should expect results to last 3 to 6 months.
What are the possible side effects?
Most common side effects are slight redness, swelling or bruising so avoid taking anti-inflammatory tablets such as aspirin and ibuprofen, or Vitamin E, 48 hours prior to treatment. Most potential side effects are temporary and generally disappear within a few days. With lip enhancement procedures, lips may remain swollen for several days following treatment.
Is the procedure painful?
Discomfort is minimal and brief and we are known for our virtually pain-free treatment. Our needles are so fine, that the process is not even as painful as plucking your eyebrows. No sedation or local anaesthetic is required, and you will be able to drive and engage in all of your usual daily activities (including putting on makeup) immediately after your injections.
